GRiT Give it a Go - Chehalem Ridge Nature Park

  • Chehalem Ridge Nature Park 38263 SW Dixon Mill Road Gaston (map)

Join the Rock Creek and Washington Composite teams for a GRiT (Girls Riding Together) Give it a Go event!

The mission? To build an awesome community and spread the stoke by getting more girls out on bikes! This event is open to the public, so share it with anyone who might be interested in trying out mountain biking or joining an Oregon League team. The Washington County area is chock full of gorgeous mountain biking trails -- this is a great way to explore this part of the state with local expert guides.

Parents, especially moms, are welcome to ride with us. Note: we cannot allow younger siblings or pets to join us. This event is open to female riders (no younger than a rising 5th grader, there is no upper age limit).

GRiT Give It a Go is a welcoming, beginner-friendly event designed to introduce girls to mountain biking in a fun and supportive environment. No experience needed. Just bring a bike, a helmet, and a willingness to try something new.

You’ll meet our team, ride with supportive coaches and student-athletes, learn a few foundational skills, and experience what the Oregon League community is all about.
