STUDENT-ATHLETES
A single flat fee of $355 covers the 2026 season of participation, including league registration, the NICA annual membership fee, insurance coverage, and a season of practices and group rides. This also includes free camping during event weekends, which we do our best to provide at most, if not all, venues. This non-refundable fee is paid by all student-athletes prior to participating in any league event, including team practices. State Champs registration is $40 and is open to qualifying student-athletes. Individual teams may charge a separate team fee.

COACHES
Any adult who participates in team practices must be a registered coach with the Oregon League and is background checked.

• NICA National Registration Fee (paid directly to NICA national): $30.00

• NICA Coach Technology Fee 2026 Season (paid directly to NICA national): $5.00

• Background Check: Year 1 = $38; Years 2-6 = $11; Year 7 = $38

• CDC Concussion Training: FREE

• Athlete Abuse Prevention Training: FREE

• NICA Philosophy, Safety and Risk Management: FREE

• Coach License Level 1, 2 or 3 Course: FREE

• WFA & CPR (required for Level 2 or 3): ~$250

• NICA On-the-Bike 101 (required for Level 2 or 3): $50.00

• NICA Leader Summit (required for Level 3): FREE

• CEU’s (required every 3 years for Level 2 & 3): FREE to $50/CEU

Fee Notes:

• Scholarships are available for student-athletes and coaches.

• Graduating student-athletes returning as coaches’ - first year is covered by the league. More info here.

• The fifth race is State Champs. Qualified student-athletes can register for an additional $40 fee.

• The Oregon League will not refund registration fees due to inclement weather.
